This is my original take on Amabie, the pandemic fighting yokai! This mysterious yokai appeared in Japan long ago with a prophetic warning of an epidemic, but with also with the good news that by spreading the image of Amabie, the epidemic would end! With Covid-19 ravaging the world, artists from across the globe are spreading the image of Amabie once again in various forms.
